This is a new magazine. Its name is Edges. It wants work from you.
Edges is a magazine dwelling in the space between, exploring what exists in connection, finding out what is buzzing between all these cables. Edges asks what becomes of the social network without the app, what becomes of correspondence when paper is added back in. What if the social network exists between you and me, as we share, discuss, observe, and feel? Edges wants work (essays, stories, poems, visual, etc.) around this theme.
The submission period for Issue 0 closed at the end of April, thank you to everybody who sent their work! You’ll be hearing from me shortly.
If you still want to contribute something to the issue, you can send something for the bulletin!
Each issue of the magazine will feature a bulletin board, where anyone (especially you!) can send short messages. You can write to one person, or to the unknown connections your message will find. Email bulletin@edgesmag.net with your love letter, exciting news, event, birthday message, open call, etc. etc. 150 word limit prose, 8 line limit poetry.
Currently the bulletin cannot fascilitate advertising.
